Chasse Conque, Athletic Director at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock became one of the youngest D-I ADs in the country after taking over the program in January 2015. Chasse’s first 2 years on the job included several monumental changes, including 2 men’s basketball coach hires, launching a department-wide rebrand and implementing a new season ticket campaign among other strategic initiatives.
Activity doesn’t always equal achievement, but in the case of UALR, the positive results have been self-evident:
• 2015-16 MBB Season Ticket Sales – Up 30%
• 2015-16 MBB home attendance – Up 167% (largest in the nation)
• 2016-17 MBB Season Ticket Sales – Up 25%+
• Overall external revenues grew 30% from 14-15 to 15-16
• Foundation Revenues more than doubled from 14-15 to 15-16
• Increased yearly student athlete community service hours by 3x
