Tiger Woods Cleared to Resume Golf Play

After being sidelined for nearly a year, Tiger Woods has officially been cleared to resume golf activities. The 41-year-old underwent back surgery on April 19th, his fourth in as many years. ESPN’s Bob Harig reports that Woods’ agent confirmed the clean bill of health, but stopped short of saying if the golfer would compete in next month’s Hero World Challenge. This sort of comeback isn’t new to Woods, who has seen himself sidelined by multiple health issues over the years. If history is due to repeat itself, Woods will want to go slow as his comebacks are usually followed by another procedure.
