Hey, this is Nattie Golf with Foray here in Manhattan for your Tip Tuesday.

Today we’re going to talk about keeping the ball nice and low around the greens. I don’t’ want you throwing the ball up in the air unless you absolutely have to. So, we’re going to do a set-up here where the ball goes towards your back foot, the grip end of the club leans towards your front leg and your weight in entirely on your front foot the whole time. You can use this shot with any club in your bag which is so awesome. It keeps it really simple. So, you’re going to lean everything forwards, and it’s just a nice putting motion. So, it looks just like this. The ball stays nice and low, gets running up on the green and it’s awesome. It gets right up next to the Pin almost every time. Alright, so that was a pitching wedge, this is a 3 Wood. You’re going to choke down a little bit as the clubs get longer, just so that you can stay more on top of it. But same thing, weight forwards, ball back, and you’re just going to make a nice little putting motion. This is just going to roll out more than your pitching wedge does.
