The PGA TOUR heads to Detroit this week for the Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club. Rickie Fowler returns to defend his title after breaking his four-year win drought last year. The victory is his most recent top-15 finish anywhere, but he placed T12 here in 2020 and is also fresh off a T20 at the 2024 Travelers Championship last week at TPC Highlands. Fowler would be the first back-to-back winner in Rocket Mortgage’s history. Tom Kim will tee it up in Detroit after falling to Scottie Scheffler in a playoff at the Travelers Championship last week. The World No. 16 has claimed two top-five finishes in his last four events and finished T7 here two years ago. Cameron Young, who finished runner-up here in 2022, will also be in the field this week. He became the 12th player on the PGA TOUR to post a sub-60 score with 59 in Round 3 of the Travelers last week. A T9 finish on Sunday of Travelers was his sixth top-10 worldwide this year. Others to look for include Akshay Bhatia, Will Zalatoris, Min Woo Lee and Robert MacIntyre.

hot and low gets the chase can he do it can he do it Franco what a shot I’m going to give him back toback birdies over to 18 with baa yeah just 142 after a perfect t- shot of this pin back left it’s a pin you can get to oh and he did that was so dangerous from being a really difficult up and down but now just above the hole look at this thing coming back that is the feeder location today where you can get it there but man you miss [Applause] left reach oh perfect speed cross-handed goes Cameron young miles Russell to get to even par for the tournament needs it come on here it is what a roll for the 15y old looking to follow up a birdie with maybe another one boy does he lean on it with those short irons this going in is it oh wow almost had birdie eagle excuse me this for a third straight read that putt we already saw hole in one here on the par 35th with Joe heith here’s Forge CIO one over to this point you thinking we’re going to see another one I don’t know if we’re that lucky using the slope just playing under its power three is getting better all the time we’re back at 13 Nate Lashley we just saw made that hole in one yesterday at 11 second shot from 98 yards front right hole location very Gable hole today and knocking it in there tight almost hold out another one Aaron Ry back on the 11th par three let’s check out this shot with our trackman Tracer technology presented by T-Mobile for business wonderful staying hot and staying aggressive Aaron Ry to 13 van Roy’s third did he have a little trouble off that t Billy Ray wide right came up short in the bunker here not much screen to work with how about that Eric Van royan yeah that looked like three the whole way the way he played that hole Kim different side of the course on the third he’s said even 79 yards out two here oh oh did you see that barely carry the water taking on a lot of risk and what a shot there at a 15 in the real he saw today oh this looks like it’s right at it he needs a birdie now oh almost did one better he’s a two under cut currently at 4 under oh same line as Joe heith almost the second Ace on the fifth 18th Fairway Showtime top Kim got to have it that eight iron from 161 he likes it pretty good but comes up short yeah you never want to Mis Cuts but maybe not a bad thing it’s been such a long stretch go home get a little rest before you head over for the open in the Open Championship good way to finish the three but not enough it’s almost worse though missing by a shot Frank look at the leaderboard right now Aaron Ry still on the course but how do you read it with AA baa up by two with the name’s chasing him Frank he’s the the highest ranked player on the FedEx Cup 15th at the moment really so in good form and just watching him play last week going to hop on the 3. I am offended they didn’t show Aaron Rais finishing holes. PGA tour media decided to clock out early today. SHAME
