Scotty sheffler Xander shafley and Rory maroy will nope nope Rory took his ball and went home for a month so he will not be joining us at The Travelers this week but myself Andy from majer talk.com and Nick Borman are here to bring down the Travelers come on Nick I understand wanting to take a week off but a month I can’t make it through your opening monologue without laughing uh welcome everybody to tea time we’re going to breaking down the Travelers and Nick let’s just get right into it uh the Course TPC River Highlands very different from last week so slightly easier than Pinehurst so uh River Highlands it’s short it’s just under 6,900 yards and I there’s just not a lot of difficulty to it I would even say it doesn’t even have that much personality you know the rough is average the greens are fairly flat compared to most PGA courses weather to be pretty calm maybe a little bit of wind on Sunday I would expect a pretty good winning score minus 16 to minus 20 there are some bunkers along the Fairway that will be in play but really there’s just not much to It ultimately it’s going to come down to who has the hottest putter I think this I think this is just going to be kind of a putting Fest I think everyone’s going to be able to hit the fairways uh I think everyone’s going to be able to hit the greens and which guys get the closest to the pin and which guys can make their putts I’ll go over three holes before I get your thought on this we’ll start with hole 10 it’s par 4 462 I I love this hole just because they put a tree in the middle of the Fairway no other reason that I like this hole it’s just that there’s a random tree right in the middle of the Fairway so they got to navigate that um but the green isn’t complicated missing it to the left is not real good uh there’s rough way left uh big bunker protecting it but I just love the tree in the middle of the Fairway it’s it really is hilarious uh when they they stand on the team and there’s just big tree right there so next hole the hole 13 the par five 500 30 yard hole this is an eagle or birdie opportunity most everyone is going to be able to reach the green into there is water on this hole so it’s not a complete guarantee you know that you’re going to be able to walk away with a real low score but um Fairway gets a bit narrow as you can see water on the right bunkers on the left so if you’re not accurate off the T your second shot isn’t going to be great but you hit the Fairway and uh you know it’s a it’s a green light special there is the water there but like I said if you’re in the Fairway uh you should be uh you should be hunting the Green in the pin um with a look at Eagles so whoever wins this tournament is gonna have to go real low on on this one I would say minus four at the at the you know easily got to be minus four on this hole it’s uh probably the easiest one out there and then finally Nick hole 17 par par 4 296 yards a deceivingly short hole um like obviously guys are going to go for it I think a lot of guys are just going to hit three wood or you know maybe even shorter um the green has several tiers so you hit a shot that gets up on the green but it’s on the wrong tier there’s no guarantee that you got a two putt um you got roll off and you can see there’s there’s there’s there’s trouble uh on other places but it’s a really fun hole love the strategy um with these guys and you know you say oh 296 par for that should be an easy one uh that green is deceivingly difficult uh kind of kind of looks a little bit like the green from last week um with all the rolloff and all the all the crowns on it but grass is going to be much much slower so don’t expect those lightning fast putts and uh that’s my take on uh River Highlands what’s your take on this course I wish I had like a lot of in-depth information I feel like last week it was like oh you know you gota look out for this this is the skill set that’s going to matter the history is kind of proven that anybody can kind of win here I mean long hitters have won short hitters have won uh guys that are you know notoriously good on approach versus guys that are good Putters I mean it you name it we’ve seen all sorts of winners during this event so it’s hard to kind of narrow down a true you know kind of area of the game that matters you’ll always be able to argue approach is going to matter uh and really the kind of two particular ones I’m looking at just based on you know the length of this course we mentioned uh this is one of the shortest courses these guys play all year at just over 6,800 yards so unlike last week where you’re getting a lot of you know at the short end of mid iron to Long irons and woods IND greens here you’re looking at a lot of wedges maybe short irons or or or the mid iron is kind of the long Club so you kind of want to look at guys that are dialed in and that probably 100 to 150 yard bucket because I think you’re gonna get a lot of those shots here in the greens and that’s why you see you mentioned the score Andy of uh being very very low I think I I was watching a highlight from last year and they had uh the score you know the live score at the bottom of the uh bottom of the screen it had Keegan Bradley at 26 under and then like the next couple contenders at 20 under he had build up a six shot lead but he was at 26 under par which is just ridiculous um so yeah you can go very very low here at this tournament you’re gonna obviously have to make a lot of putts to do that so for me this week it’s it’s guys that are gonna be very good with their their wedges uh because you’re gonna get a lot of those in hand like last week the only similarity is it is another stock par 70 so we’re only looking at two par five so you know par for scoring you know who excels in par for scoring take an extra minute maybe to kind of look at the top I don’t know 20 25 guys or whatever there and see if that not that that’s everything but if you’re between two guys and you see maybe a significant difference in par four scoring maybe lean towards that particular person uh and then you know guys that have the ability to go low and have proven that they can win you know low-scoring tournaments uh we kind of talked about this before but there’s a certain caliber player that you know like a will zures um that contends when par is a good score Fitzpatrick’s another name that comes to mind he seems to do better when par is a good score but when these these shootout type events they’re usually not the names you see near the top of the leaderboard so pay attention to the guys that are have high birdie averages um have posted very very low rounds you know those 62s and 61s that you see from time to time guys that can do that and get hot with a flat stick that’s probably what you’re going to need you’re gonna need one of those kind of uh breakthrough ridiculously low rounds to really have a true chance by the time Sunday rolls around uh you mentioned the weather it does look like there’s thunderstorms a pretty good chance of thunderstorms at some point on Friday of course trying to you know gather when that’s going to be and see if there’s an advantage on the tea time wave is difficult to do so I don’t really have any input in that especially because you know we’re taping Tuesday morning I would rather wait until later Wednesday to really get a better gauge on the timing of it but even then it’s probably thunderstorms it’s always a craft shoot so hard to say it’s going to be any advantage there but um last thing I’ll mention is this tournament generally well this is a signature event right so it’s the last one of the year it’s only 72 now 71 players as you jokingly mentioned uh Rory with Drew in past this wasn’t always a big event not everybody a lot of the big names don’t usually play here Patrick kley is a rare one that plays here every year and always has success but you know your shafley and your and your shefflers aren’t guys that have played here very often while I say shle he he has played a few times and won um but a lot of the other big names don’t usually play here that often so I do think course history is worth a little bit of a look this week because it’s always going to help especially in a course where you’re you know trying to dial in to go very very low so that’s my take on it I wish I had more in depth you know on the course itself but that’s kind of the player I’m looking at good wedge play and Par Four scoring and a guy that can go low I gotta be honest Nick him withdrawing from the tournament bothered me way more than not doing the interview I I I I don’t I don’t really I don’t really care about the interview like what do you want him to say he miss putts like you want to just sit up there and humiliate him a little bit more B up but coming off of when the elite players wanted these elevated events pushed for them they wanted him around the majors and then to like withdraw from it is weak that is that that part is is weak I get it you’re upset in the moment but like come on you should be calmed down by by Thursday like to to go out there and and and at least play in the elevated event if it wasn’t an elevated event okay whatever but yeah missing an event H Rory not not the best look so whatever what are you going to do um let’s get to the total Strokes gained chart and some good names on this one um we take a look at the total Strokes gain for last 12 months six months three months um Nick what do we take away from uh this chart uh I I do have to point out you know Christian bazen hoit has has been like really good he’s been kind of a sneaky guy and I know he doesn’t like he doesn’t pop up on these lists but he gets pretty close um to these lists and I I was I was really surprised how how close he is to making these lists other than him though it’s a lot of the same names what do we like on this list yeah you’re right about uh Bez I like to call him because his last name is ridiculous to pronounce he is in the top 10 in the last six months uh and he’s number 10 in the last three months in the last 12 months he’s a little further down the list because his longer term I guess the seven to 12 month window out wasn’t as strong but yeah you’re right about the list it’s it’s very similar to what we saw last week minus Bry and D Shambo who obviously can’t play in this event um and then you got a couple guys that have really you know maxom he he he wasn’t in here last week but he comes in here because he’s had a good 12-month run he had a good fall and such but he’s as you can see on the screen his shorter term results have been forgettable to say the least I don’t really remember actually talking about him you know as far as TV coverage or being in the mix uh really over the last month or maybe longer so that makes sense um but otherwise it’s it’s who you would expect here you got guys like The Perennial I keep saying Russell Henley he just again he had his best US Open last week he just never makes any noise whatsoever nobody says a dang thing about his name or anything about it but there he is somehow he’s top 10 top 20 at worst almost every single week so he’s one of the most consistent uh what you want to say un unflashy kind of players you just don’t get in a lot of uh coverage on the guy but there he is and deservingly so Sam Burns is another guy quietly playing pretty well in a very very short window it doesn’t show in the three month but in a shorter window it shows well he had another good finish at the US Open but I haven’t you know really pulled the trigger on him yeah I’m not sure and I kept the notables the same as last week because these guys were playing good going last week Connors and matama both top 10s played great uh and so I I I deserve I left them on the screen and you can see Mama’s numbers you know he’s actually in the elite group of the top five now over the last three months as far as his play goes so no surprises at the top Andy and it’s a reason you see that no short numbers on those guys compared to the rest of the field um but that sweet spot this week for probably your outright winners and stuff is going to be in that you know 25 to 40 uh range there’s a lot of lot of good caliber players in that in that neighborhood you can see some of those numbers here on the screen yeah I yeah we mentioned R not playing this tournament I think this this tournament could have set up really nice for a bunch of another tournament with a lot of big names near the top going low like you know like oh man so and so shot minus seven in round four he’s right up there with the leaders so hopefully we get we get that kind of shootout uh on this course that that you’ll see a lot of birdies a lot of long made putts I expect with with some of these easy greens so could be sneaky pretty exciting uh pretty exciting finish so uh guys if you could take a minute out of your day and just hit that like button just just hit the like button for us it helps the algorithm out let’s let’s wager tuck know we’re doing a good job for you and leave us a comment tell us what you’re liking this week tell us how your US Open went always excited excited to see how you guys are doing in the comments section don’t forget to check out all the other content at wager talk TV baseball season in full force so we’ve got daily breakdown videos uh for MLB games don’t forget to check out some of the WNBA action uh team’s been doing a great job with some of the content there and of course wager talk today every day Monday through Friday uh noon Eastern 9:00 a.m Pacific on the wager talk YouTube channel and of course Nick and I are here every week on tea time uh to break down the for you uh well we’re going to get to players that can trip you up and this is going to be what this is going to be one of the the best segments because uh Nick and I are going a little bit slightly head-to-head on some of these so I’ll start with uh my first player I think can trip you up is Tony feno finished eighth and third the last two weeks uh but before that he had won Top 10 in 11 tournaments um he’s 14th in total Strokes gain last six months and he just doesn’t play well here he has no finish is better than 13th in eight tournaments and I know he’s played great the last two weeks but that means he has to finish top 10 again to return value I would just be nervous he has not been consistent over the years um one time in each year the last couple years has he finished top 10 in three straight weeks so this is just not something that he does very often so um he played great the last couple weeks no no no arguing that but I just wonder if he regresses back a little bit on a course that he doesn’t traditionally play well at next guy Patrick Klay he proved me wrong last week for sure I had him as a player that can trip you up and he was great I just think he’s overvalued third place at the US Open but he’s only had two other great finishes this season he was fourth at the Genesis third at the RBC Heritage in the very next tournament after those finishes he finished 36 and 29th so consistency again has been a real struggle with him 13th in the field in total Strokes game but he’s priced as a top six guy he’s only finished top 10 one time here in the last six years so um I it just kind of a a we we’ll talk about uh where where you think he he could finish here Nick but for me bet betting on Patrick can’t to be in the top six every week has just been a losing proposition so um it’s kind of crazy I’m in my oneandone league and I have not used Patrick Klay yet like you would think like you would think yeah you would think by now like you know you’re using up all your bigname guys I haven’t used him yet I can’t I can’t find the week that I would that I would play him at um next is we’ll take a stab with Colin Mory Kawa he’s been playing really good uh missed the cut at the T at this tournament the last two times he’s played here including last year uh don’t forget how bad he was at the beginning of the year now his Newfound putting success has been really what’s turned it around but his price is a top five guy um I’m just not going to be betting on him when he shown no success on this course it’s kind of one of those course history um type of things I’m just not not not willing to bet on colum morawa to be in the top five so Tony feno Patrick Klay and Kum morawa are three players uh that I think can trip you up this week but I gotta be honest Nick this one was hard this week was really really hard like you can say Scotty Sheffer on an easy course is gonna struggle like no um you know so I I don’t want to I don’t want to say I was I was reaching but uh in a in a short field suspects are pretty Limited uh which leads us into um Let’s do an outright here uh let’s talk about uh one of your guys that you think is good value to win out right and we just talked about him Tony fow so what do you see with him yeah so not often we’re directly head-to-head and your players that can trip you up and and then the next segment with the outrights but F now you know listen I get all the reasons you would suggest you know to to to watch out for him and you know I can’t argue against a lot of them what I would say for f now is I think he’s turned a corner just with me personally he really hasn’t been on my bet on list but his recent play has certainly worked his way back into at least being considered uh you know his tie for thir last week is going to get the most attention that was his best ever you know finish at a major certainly a great result but it’s not like it came completely out of nowhere he’s had some additional recent strong results uh including he had a tie for eth at the memorial 17th Charles Schwab 18th at the PGA 12th at the RBC Heritage and then a co-run up at the Houston open so that’s five top 20s in his last seven starts and honestly you know I’m not going to Pro I’m not playing F out here without backing him up and what I mean by that is I’m going to also put money on the top 20 uh to cover and you can get a plus plus number on him at plus 110 but his result results have been pretty good golf’s a pickle sport where you can ride kind of momentum you can it’s confidence right I mean so much of it is that Rory was a good good case in point you know guy can’t make the putt when he needs to and sure enough he misses two very short able ones on Sunday it’s it’s so much in between your ears uh this game as we all know and fow kind of you know he he’s got the confidence right now the other part of his game that’s always been a weakness we talk about this all the time too uh is his putting is usually very very poor so the last two weeks though the last two tournaments he’s played in he’s gained more than a half a shot Strokes game putting in each of those last two so I’m hoping you know he’s carrying that confidence with the flat stick into this week and of course this is a week you need to roll in a ton ton of birdies the metrics I like this week he is high on he ranks third in Strokes game approach this season he’s a very very good iron player he just doesn’t always capitalize so you we’re gonna need the putter to stay hot uh and he’s eighth in birdie average because he hits a lot of close shots so he can get hot and go low he can hit a lot of good iron approaches he just needs that that putter uh to cooperate to really give him a chance on Sunday uh and again last week I mentioned when we previewed matama as an outright I just I talked about like his pricing right and kind of compared to other guys in the pool that the oddsmakers had him and I thought he was well worth it well he finished to 10 and I compared him a guys like havin who was way lower in value and you know nowhere near the top and I look at him again this week you know for phen now and at the 30 kind of 30 to1 range you know the other other numbers you’re seeing out there on guys is Victor hland again you’re seeing Russell Henley you know proven perennial guy that’s going to finish in the top 20 but maybe not win Tommy Fleetwood still hasn’t won an event F now’s at least a six-time PJ tour winner uh even Sam Burns who’s who’s not you know other than quietly making a couple leaderboards he’s not really making any real contention or getting any TV coverage so those guys are all priced at the same or lower odds and I just think fow represents better value this week and has a better chance and real realistically than any of them so I’m looking ahead his number I’m seeing value and I’m seeing a couple of the metrics that I think are important this week in Fen now’s game and I’m hoping that putter which has shown life the last two weeks can stay hot and if does I think he’ll at least give us a chance on Sunday Nick depending on Tony [Laughter] fow’s no no yeah listen I actually think I think I think feno is the one that could make me look really bad on players that that can trip you up so I pulling for you on that one so uh Nick before we move on to DraftKings Darlings uh you got a big play going uh for this week tell everyone what you have up and where we can find you at yeah I’m taking a page right out of your book Andy I got a 5% uh crossport parlay going on so I got a high leaderboard finish position for a player I think that’s just going to do very very well this week at The Travelers uh combined with a soccer play we have the both the Euro and Copa America tournaments going on so international soccer and I see a a great match to combine a leaderboard finish with so it’s a combine crossport parlay 5% play included plus uh like any other week you’ll get all the plays for the week so that that’s all pre-tournament bets and all or any bets added during the four days of the tournament included All For One Price and that is available right now on my page at wagertalk.com MLS also available right now uh we have a midweek card so there’s games on Wednesday this week four and0 sweep again last weekend up over I’m hitting 63 and a half percent this season over 40 some units gained already going for six straight winning year so very thrilled with the results thus far and we get two um Mid uh this week with Wednesday games and Saturday games so good time to check out like a 7day all access pass you’ll get the golf tournament both MLS midweek slates uh plus any other international soccer as well so a lot going on uh wagertalk.com on my page is where you can find me congrats on that ML MLS run man that that is that is fantastic man that’s uh blowing expectations out of the water uh great work by you let’s take a look at some Draft Kings Darlings here um I’ll start with Adam senson at 60 400 he’s made the cut in 10 straight tournaments he did not get off to a good start to the year like he was he was pretty bad um now his finishes aren’t amazing but at only 6,400 it’s a nice play on a guy who’s been pretty consistent and dependable the last couple weeks so this is this is the play that lets me get a few more higher price guys in the lineup so I temporary expectations with Adam Fenson I’m not thinking he’s going to aim you know get in the top 20 but uh just you know don’t just get some points uh don’t don’t absolutely ruin our lineup please uh up next Taylor pendrith at 7200 he’s made the cut in six out of the last seven tournaments so he’s playing well last three months plus 0.81 Strokes gained of putting and Nick we talked about this tournament could come down to putting so anybody who’s been really hot with the putter could have a nice finish here these Fairways are not too hard to hit the greens are not too hard to hit so looking at a guy at 72 200 who’s been putting that well yeah I’ll I’ll absolutely put him in the lineup and then we talk hot Putters we got to talk Denny McCarthy 7500 he was a good DraftKings darling last week um I think he finished 36th so you should be happy with that price and number one in the field putting like this year six months three months two years three years just that you know time it really is it’s it’s amazing and not not just barely ahead like way ahead it’s it’s like Scotty Sheffer T green and Denny McCarthy putting they’re just yeah oh my gosh you can combine those two oh no um so I listen this guy finished seventh uh here last year he’s been good this season he has a couple of top 10 finishes so he does have some nice upside so this is a great uh great price for him Adam Fenson Taylor pendrith and Denny McCarthy and I will also just throw in there like you just he he he’s a little bit too expensive because uh but you have to have Russell Henley in your lineup anytime Russell Henley plays he just has to be in your lineup he’s like a guaranteed top 25 finish like his price is too high to make this list but he’s like the guy that just like you you start off your your your lineup and you just put Russell Henley in there so uh so uh article is up at waga talk.com breaks down um the rest of my list of uh by DraftKings lineup for this week all right let’s talk a top 20 finishing uh position and here’s another guy that we just talked about what do you like about Patrick all right I mentioned it was rare that we go against each other it’s very rare that we go against each other twice I believe this is the first time all year this has happened uh and again with a little asteris on Andy’s segment he is throwing names out there of guys that he thinks don’t return value not necessarily that won’t have a good week and way I’m looking at Patrick hentley who just like Andy has been very unbal for me and not a guy I have not touched much at all this season but I’m willing to jump in this week not on the outrights but I think he can have a good finish top 20 and again that’s only you’re beating less than a quarter of the field with 71 in in the field so normally I’m looking at bigger numbers like you’re plus you know 200s in this segment but I just think kley at minus 140 is actually pretty good value to finish in the top 20 full transparency though if he doesn’t play well last week Andy I’m probably not betting him but that finish you know really kind of it’s just suggesting to me a return to form perhaps for kley here whose approach play has been fantastic each of the last two tournaments I say that oddly enough because he missed the cut at the memorial but it had nothing to do with his approach his irons were fantastic he just was terrible off the te which is rare for him um and he couldn’t put either but his his irons were very very good and I think that I mean that’s really his game is is his iron play that’s usually what separates him you know from the rest of the fields he’s also gotten a few good results this season they’ve not been consistent you mentioned that but they’ve come in little bursts right so he finished tie for 11th at Pebble Beach then he backed it up with a tie for fourth at the Genesis he also finished 22nd at the Masters and then he backed it up with a third at the RBC Heritage so I’m kind of hoping he rides that little burst right he had that awesome third place finish last week can he ride that wave of momentum like he has shown two other times this season he’s been able to do and again remember this is just a field of 71 so we’re we’re betting on him to beat you know less than a quarter of the field to finish in the top 20 but really it’s all comes down to kle being in a place that he loves he’s got a little confidence a little momentum but now he’s got the comfort of a place he does play every single year not a lot of people in this field can say that but he’s finished in the top 20 in six straight years here all of those mind you were full field events and I know this year’s been a little bit of a Down year but listen if there’s one thing that can kind of get you off your schneide on golf it’s going back to a place that you know very well you’re very comfortable at uh and very confident in I’m hoping he can combine that confidence of the place he likes with his resol from last week and maybe kind of have a little Swagger uh in his step his slow step let’s say I hate watching him play but I’m hoping to cash on him at a top 20 this week so it’s been it hasn’t happened much that I’ve been cly this week but I’m willing to take my chances and I think he can at least get us a top 20 this week at The Travelers yeah Patrick kentley and Swagger don’t really go hand in I I almost I threw up on my mouth as I said yep uh let’s talk about some other golfers and I’m kind of basing some of these topics on um on their finish last week uh Xander Schley is this going down as one of the more underrated Seasons guys’s just a top 10 machine regardless of the field w a major and yet you know we talk about Rory and we talk about Scotty Sheffer and I’m looking at Xander sha at least from a betting perspective this guy’s a cash cow so I don’t know we under season from Xander I’m not I mean maybe others are because he hasn’t won he’s just got the one win but my gosh you’re right I mean the numbers Scotty’s getting all the attention because he’s got the five wins and his you know Strokes gain numbers are off the charts but Xander is not far behind I mean we we saw at the beginning of the show with the graphic he is close he just hasn’t closed the door that’s been his you know knock on him he finally broke through with the PGA win maybe like we saw with Scotty it was kind of like it took Scotty a little while right remember and obviously xanders won before but hopefully for his sake that that that little wind especially the major wi kind of catapults him but man there’s been nobody more consistent than Xander honestly and proved it last week Scotty had a down week which we haven’t seen that you know from him and and Xander just doesn’t seem to have that even if he has a slow round he can bounce back pretty pretty well and doesn’t really give up and guaranteed four rounds like this week I would be very surprised if he’s not the top 10 again like he has been each of the last two weeks I mean you talk about a time a guy’s ready for a a little bit of a let down right after that major win no no tie for eth tie for seventh last two two tournaments in big fields and strong tough courses so I don’t see Contin he’s 49 straight cuts made right now Andy so there’s a reason that’s amazing you want to put your money on this guy yeah uh ludvic a bear I was completely terrified of his knee after the Mis cut he took a couple weeks off Fifth and 12th so is he good to go rest of the year you think this guy’s bet on I would assume he plays this week and probably takes another couple weeks off at some of the Lesser events but ludvick abar he’s he’s a bed on right you know he’s uh yeah he’s young right I mean he’s he’s young if he can’t I know like you say the same thing about zalot torus but backs are a little bit different than knes and I’m hoping that it’s a minor blip for him and it’s not really anything to worry about but he’s so young he’s got no scar tissue of you know things in his hands that he lost Rory um and you know he just fire he he he the the commentator like obviously he he fell a little bit really lost the ter on that one hole right whatever I forget what number that was where he made that triple bogey he could he had the short game that’s his one Achilles heel is his his uh around the gree numbers aren’t as strong as you know probably it needs to be to really be a week in and week out Xander choffle or Scotty sheffler but he’s obviously very very close to that but the the comments and listening to them talk about how mature he plays especially in a course like Pinehurst where it required you know maturity and not taking on pins and playing the smart shot taking your medicine it’s just it’s beyond his age so I think there’s a lot of growth still left in him but to show that maturity now I think it’s only up from here I yeah I think it’s I think it’s all behind him at this point I’m willing to bet on him you know every time I can because I love the kid I think he’s gonna win very very soon he already did but what yeah what do we do with Victor havin miscut 24th third 15th and then horrific at the US like downright awful at at at the US Open what’s the what’s the deal with him this year you got I have no read on him I he’s he’s certainly not a bet on um especially at these more difficult courses uh we were texting before the tournament and I told you you know I’m like listen I’m I’m fading havin this week and that was a week after I had bet on him to win the tournament so his weakness too is short game in the US Open screams M greens everything from the 2014 edition said you’re not going to hit greens and you’re going to have to rely on that short game Bryson and Rory you know they were better than anybody around the greens and clearly that’s why they were at the top hin is this is not its game so for me there it was an obvious okay he’s not gonna hit a lot of greens if he does they’re gonna run off he’s gonna rely on that not a good week to bet on him now this week you get the guy whose tgree numbers as far as off the te and approach are usually pretty good and you can take away probably miss greens because you’re GNA have a lot of short irons in I think he could be a play on type of a guy so it depends on the event and what the skill set that you might you know have to require on if if if you’re going to rely on his around the green stuff it’s probably not a good thing for him um but this week I don’t see that being a thing so I’m I’m not personally having any any bet on him this week I just don’t see a lot of value in his number but I wouldn’t really I wouldn’t you know make fun of anybody that was putting some money on hin because I do think he’ll he’ll bounce back and remember well maybe not remember but I I’ll I’ll Enlighten the everybody out there because after his round one 78 I’m going to guarantee most people weren’t really paying attention to him in round two because it was over at that point but I was cuz I had bet against him uh for on Fleetwood he was eight shots clear Fleetwood was after round one hin shot 68 he shot 78 68 in round two so he did come back and actually play pretty well in round two now at that point he had nothing to lose there was no pressure whatever but I almost lost that head to-head match up which I thought was a for sure thing so I do want to at least say that you know he showed glimpses uh on that second round even though he didn’t make the cut that maybe he can carry that confidence in but for him it’s all around the the short around the green shot so I don’t think they going to come I think he can be all right this week and finally take on Bryson with Bryson de Shambo I don’t think I’ve ever seen a uh a PR like like 100% complete turn this guy was one of the look nobody liked him he was a jerk to everybody now he’s now he’s the now he’s the the fan favorite it’s amazing how quickly this turn around happened and all it took was him going to a different League I’m really confu I’m really I’m confused by this Bry and dambo phenomenon thing I really don’t even know what to make of it I don’t know how to explain it to to anybody that doesn’t follow golf uh what’s your take on on where he is right now I think it’s just his attitude and his humbleness you know he was uh you know kind of the cocky arrogant bad boy if you will at one point in his career and I don’t know if it was him or somebody smarter than him said you know hey maybe it’s worth changing your image or maybe it was just maturity his own you know he grew up and he just realized whatever he was uh you know thought was important to him isn’t and did say that they were actually I don’t know if it was before he won or if it was after the third round but they were interviewing him he was like you know what’s because I asked him kind of these same questions and he contributed a lot of that to like there’s more to life than just golf I used to think it was just golf and I’m he’s not putting golf as like a you know a secondary thing in his life but he’s realizing that it’s not everything right and I think that humbleness maybe has has worn off on him you obviously we don’t see the crowd interactions from a player uh to the crowd like we do like we have with it and I mean in the middle of it the guy is on the 17th and 18th hole on Sunday to win the US Open he’s still interacting with them he pulls a club on I think it was the third round on on a part short part four says sorry to the crowd right sorry I’m not to hit the driver I know you want to see me hit the driver sorry so I mean who does that right so it’s hard not to like him at that point we did talk about him I mentioned it I think it was during the show I I don’t think it was behind the scenes but after the Masters and they interviewed him and he said you know just like his answers and his humbleness and his ability to kind of I don’t want to say self deprecate but really just speak honestly about where he is what he’s gone through what matters to him I think it just spoke to people just there’s no BS behind him anymore so I like him I’ve been betting on him it’s been working out great I gave out uh top top live golfer on wager talk today at plus 320 so I’m happy we cashed at least that on him of course we missed him just a little bit because we took him at the PGA but maybe we’ll get him at the open a year and a half ago if I would have told you Zach Johnson would be way more hated than Bryson de Shambo never believe me you would have never ever believe me uh pretty wild pretty wild all right guys that’s going to do it for us for tea time if you haven’t hit the like 2. Love the Andy vs Nick this week. Andy was right to fade Homa the last time you guys were head-to-head. I'm on Keegan and Sam Burns and I'm taking Viktor in my one and done.

  3. Great stuff! DK has Scheffler at plus money in a match up v xander and morikawa. I gotta take Scottie. He said he made a mistake playing week before us open causing fatigue. He was out of it early so he wasnt really grinding away on the weekend.
