all right well ladies and gentlemen we’
like to go and get started we’d like to
welcome Parker and Pearson cudy to the
media center here at Desert Classic of
New Orleans guys making your tournament
debut here this week and obviously
paired up together so um ich you just
maybe talk a little bit about how
special it is to be playing uh this PJ
Tour event as uh Partners this
week yeah it it’s awesome we’re really
glad to be here uh I don’t think we’ve
played any type of tournament format
where we’ve actually been like true
Partners uh obious in college you know
your teammates but this week we’re going
to be relying on each other a little bit
more so it’s going to be really fun and
uh hopefully you know we’re still
friends and brothers after
this Parker I mean just echoing what he
said but I think also it’s a lot of fun
for our family that’s coming in I mean
our parents as soon as they saw we’re or
knew we were playing they had booked
this trip and then his fiance is here my
girlfriend’s coming in I mean it it’ll
just be a fun week and whatever happens
happens but I think like he said
hopefully we just like each other of
this and then coming off of punana last
week you guys both finish in the top 20
and Parker finishing T6 and uh I guess
just overall state of your game and
momentum coming into this
week uh yeah it’s hasn’t been the start
of the year that I wanted uh luckily
we’re only about a third of the way
through the season give or take so uh
and one week out here you know can
change a whole script so just trying to
kind of stay in my Lane process whatnot
and uh just continue kind of Stack good
weeks and P cono is a good start for
me yeah I I Feel Like The Season’s been
ups and downs like any season it started
off where I’ve put myself in position to
have some good tournaments and haven’t
quite finish it off but yeah to have
first top 10 on tour last week that’s
great stepping stone for this week so
and then just just lastly for me um you
guys were able to get out on the golf
course yesterday a good bit what stands
out to you about TBC Louisiana as you
guys ready to attack that starting
tomorrow the greens are firmer and
faster than I expected uh so that’s
really cool because they’re pure they’re
great uh and then so just kind of puts a
premium on you know hitting good iron
shots making sure balls on The Fairway
all the all the things that you expect
from a really kind of high level golf
course in tournament uh you see that
here at TVC
Louisiana I think I mean I’ve heard it’s
the best shape it’s ever been in for
this tournament which is great I mean as
you mentioned this is our first time
here but course was in great shape and
it’s going to be a premium to hit some
greens this week because it’s it’s tough
to get up and down around these screens
Perfect all right we’ll go ahead and uh
start with any questions from the media
we have a microphone we can get over to
you right there on go ahead MK if you’re
ready y
we didn’t even ask each other it just
was kind of like implied I think it
would been a little disappointing if we
didn’t play together or be like oh like
why aren’t you playing together but now
we just we committed the tournament and
as teammates and here we are so our
caddies give us a hard time because like
we were paired together in Houston for
the first two rounds and we walked up on
the tea and didn’t shake hands didn’t
say hi just made sure we had different
markings on our golf balls
uh so yeah I mean there’s probably just
a little too much implication on you’re
me and my partner whether you like it or
not I have no idea we the perfect team
but it’s I don’t know I think it’ll be a
fun week it’ll be a lot more comfortable
I think than some of the other teams may
be um we obviously know each other very
well and at least I think we like each
other for the most part so it it’ll be
really easy going this week I mean it’s
it’s different just from other weeks cuz
you can play really well and you just
never know what happens or you could
play really bad and it just kind of is
what it is and but I think we’ll have a
good relationship as far as no matter
what happens like it’s just another week
and we’ll go home next week with byon
Nelson so it’ll be a fun week this week

yeah I our Cades and uh coaches that
have been out here for several years
tough kind of already just from watching
us play and everything had a strategy
almost kind of built in for us of like
you know Parker’s been hitting his irons
better this year and you know I guess
the odds have more part Theses and so
it’s kind of it was kind of just built
in okay well Parker will take the odds
I’ll take the evens and uh now so yeah
we didn’t really have to have like a
team discussion of this or that it was
just kind of you know we have guys
around us with a lot of experience and
they were like this is probably the best
way to do it and you know we we trust
them and uh so yeah we just trying to
figure it all
out
