One week after the Masters, the PGA TOUR heads to South Carolina for the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links. This is the fifth of eight Signature Events in the season. Scottie Scheffler returns to the field this week, despite being fresh off a victory at the Masters. The world No. 1 has not shot an over-par round all season and has three victories (and one runner-up) so far in 2024. He made his debut at Harbour Town last year and finished T11. Matt Fitzpatrick looks to become the first golfer to go back-to-back at the RBC Heritage since Boo Weekley in 2007-08. Fitzpatrick, a playoff victor last year, has two top-10 finishes this season. He has just one missed cut at Harbour Town over the last six years. Ludvig Åberg will also be in South Carolina this week after his impressive second place finish in his Masters debut. He has four top-10s (including two runner-up results) so far this season and is knocking on the door for a victory. Others to look out for this week are Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Hideki Matsuyama and Viktor Hovland.

[Music]
[Applause]
second shot on this par
five that’ll settle up on the green but
a little short of the flag and the win
behind
him and that will be for Eagle coming up
meanwhile over at five the leader he
could certainly extend the lead with all
of that going on around up the head and
he’s done it like you’d expect 30 for
sheer he moves to 19 under easiest hole
of the day there at the
fifth this is for
birdie with the
putter good
Pace AED
in a little confidence from oberg with
backto back
birdies he’s at 14
[Applause]
[Music]
under I have a bike it breaks down into
a bag about this
High the
oh Steve Scott Steve Scott on
fire great
call for
birdie from
distance all right Rogers with four
birdies in the first six holes he’s at
17
under Scotty Sheffer this guy’s been
filling it
up at the ninth short Par Four fourth
straight day Windam Clark’s hit driver
here looks like he’s going to birdie
this whole four straight days it’ll be
to go out in 29 playing alongside Colin
marau both of them just even through
seven not the start they
needed he too loves to work the ball and
he’s done it beautifully there oh yeah
little ground fade from 160 yd nice Big
Slice on that oh it’s a tiny green what
a gorgeous back to eight and the g to
get in red figures today move to 14
under s c
for including one more on the back so
he’s at 8
under oh no oh my goodness and it
ricocheted right wow
and Jim there’s a real chance that
Ball’s out of bounds going to have to
investigate that could be the tournament
for him right there he go
out
Jesus up two more birdies on the front
again to shoot seven under going
out and that’s for a
double the grain to this sort of back
pin location
and that’s what he’s trying to do looks
really good for a line is it enough to
get up that tier here it comes oh what a
beauty from JT Poston fantastic iron
shot there and that’ll be just a couple
feet left for biry and he’s about n
months without having a round over par
right since
August at the nth off the side of the
slope the Par Four second shot on the
way and right in for the eagle two
there’s a bounce
back and complicated yes downhill uphill
left to right right to left all going on
finy great spade and great
[Applause]
line that would have given him 64 let’s
go to 10 second shot strier that’s eight
iron Away With the Wind from the right
well using it nicely too
[Applause]
dond it’s even better
though it came right out of the
middle between t
under three it go a long way here for
Poston oh what a superb shot from 142
yds laying up with four
iron should get him somewhere down there
in the vicinity of aund to the front
anyway down the right side is go dear
what a mistake
Frank smashed a niron from 130 to here
just a good 40 ft breaking to his
left talk to me
Frank yeah and it goes the runner up
last
week still fighting him in it shake of
the
head daylight is fading
quickly cleared the trees out to the
right trying to turn
over oh this is what they were talking
about look at the spin on
this and the
slope is that any good he’ll have that
for
[Applause]
par into the night with an amazing
par
wow you see that fist pump
reminds me of what he did so he can
finish the hole I’m not sure if that’d
be the right decision as stri a plays
the
[Applause]
15th this is straa who decided he was
going to put this morning Scotty
finished yesterday good call good call
set he makes it okay for the
birdie back to 16 great View good to see
the very simple back swing of strike up
that is another nine iron on the way
puts that club in an excellent position
at top of the Swing simple move chance
to go birdie birdie chance to get to 16
under uphill with not too much break off
his
rights oh what a PO two second all
alone a lot of FedEx Cup points
available big jump in the right
direction I do see two Jim we’ll see how
much noise they can make okay his first
single bogey of the
week but it’s
over pure domination the Run continues

  1. I truly love to watch Scottie scheffler play golf and I love the guy but I do kinda want to see someone else win a tournament. No offense just my opinion

  2. Really interesting about Scottie. He's absolutely undeniable this season. But you notice he's not playing perfect. He had those struggles with putting, he made some mistakes like the layup ball in the water here.

It reminds me of Tiger that in the midst of dominating, he'd make a mistake but would play these amazing recovery shots, or just not let bogeys or mistakes fluster him. Scottie has done a really good job of that.

  3. It would be really nice if these were in order. Jumping back and forth makes it hard to keep up with what's going on. I know it's just a highlight real but we don't all have (or want) to spend 4 hours watching the round in real time.

  4. What makes Scottie so good is not that he doesn’t make mistakes, but when he does, they’re so minimal because of how he reacts and bounces back from them.
