camon how did you kind of uh
characterize the day today um feel like
I hit a bunch of mediocre shots at smart
targets um and just kind
of I don’t know I puted reasonably well
but just kept it in play and didn’t do
much special honestly after a after a
solid finish there at Augusta actually
very good finish at Augusta last week
what’ you got to do the last couple days
to kind of maybe recharge a little bit
um not not a ton um I came out and
walked the back nine on Monday we drove
down Monday morning walked the back nine
had a sponsor day on Tuesday um and then
played the pro a yesterday so I had kind
of yesterday afternoon a little bit
off um but it’s pretty much been
business as usual that week is is taxing
um but I had two weeks off before it so
we pretty ready to go for the two week
stretch what do you you feel like you
said you hit some meteor shots to Smart
targets but what do you other thing of
putting what else did you feel like you
did really well today um really just
kept it in play I mean I feel like I hit
a lot of Fairways um kind of the one the
one of which I had back was on uh
15 hit it kind of up the right and it
kicked off a tree and I had to hit one
Lefty which was a bummer because that’s
a pretty getable hole but um other than
that I mean I feel like I picked some
some good t- shots and and hit them all
you know well enough to to keep it in
play all day
seem to have a good season so far how
would you kind of assess where you are
and where you want to be with uh with
the game right now as we keep going
towards bigger tournaments yeah I mean
I’d love the game to be a little bit
better I feel like I wasn’t quite on top
of it last week and didn’t feel like it
today but um I feel like mentally I’ve
I’ve kind of turned a corner and um I
think that’s just allowed me to keep
myself in it with some with some average
golf what maybe have you done mentally
to to turn the corner um it’s hard to
say just kind of having gone through
some very different like seasons and
very different stretches um I think I’m
just starting to kind of put it together
a little bit as far as keeping myself in
in a place that that allows me to keep
rounds together and um just play a
little bit more like myself more often
is that kind of show like last week
where you said you know your game may
not have been completely there but you
finished in the top 10 yeah yeah exact I
mean I’m I made a a kind of an
unfortunate and terrible double bogey on
13 last week on Sunday and um it was one
of those I probably formally would have
walked off of pretty angry and I was
still angry but uh was able to keep
myself together and and you know hit it
to a tap in on 14 and birdied 15 and uh
instead of you know turning a top 10
into a 25th I kept myself in there and
finish ninth thanks again yep no worries
