How Kirk Cousins tampering could affect Minnesota Vikings’ draft | Pro Football Talk | NFL on NBC

  1. The Eagles/Cardinals settlement was worth 99 points on the draft value chart and it was a way more serious case. They contacted an active coach a week before the Super Bowl. I don't see how this can be anything different than late round picks.

  2. For Charean to mention, Kyle Shanahan molding Brock Purdy into a competent quarterback as a joke. That’s nothing but dumb luck and hard work on Brock’s part. He’s turned into a very good quarterback, but don’t sit here and say that that can be replicated when it’s never happened before. Stupid

  3. So what should Vikings be offering WAS for 2? 11,23,2025R1,2026R1?
In Rich Hill Trade Value Points, this is 717 for (358+245+121+56=780)
And if Vikings can flip 11 to 8, should they offer 8,23, 2025R1 for 2?
In Rich Hill Trade value points, this is 717 for (406+245+121=772)

If you were Vikings, would you do this?
If you were WAS would you accept this?
I am hopeful you will have at least a short vid in which you and perhaps a guest ask this question.
I have watched the Vikings channels and the fans seem willing.
I have watched the WAS channels and the fans are all into QB QB QB QB and ignoring OT OT, which WAS did NOT address in FA.
With an 8 WAS could draft an OT and have capital left to draft another good OT. I see this as much more transforming than finding a blade of grass QB better at running for his life.

  4. No way they flip flop. They can’t make it a disadvantage to the rest of the league. There was no guarantee that he stayed in Minnesota either so why reward them?

  5. You could be bad and go one next year in the top 10 with a lot of the bad teams picking QBs top 10 the last 2 years. Of course, that is more bad from a coach and the firing fuse gets shorter, he is getting into a Nagy situation next year. If he were such a QB genus he should be able to make Darnold top half, each draft there are at most 2-3 good QB and the rest are Darnold at best. Good QBs are not broken with a bad start, they might not get a good opportunity with a good team.

  6. I think the punishment should be Atlanta loses its first round draft pick to the Vikings. Then the Vikings would have 8,11 and 23 this draft😊

  7. The only reason Mike is such a crybaby about the Falcons tampering with Kirk Cousins is because he is a fanboy of the Vikings. The only fault for the Vikings being without a real starting qb is because they refused to pay Kirk Cousins so its their own damn fault. Im not a Falcons fan I am just stating the obvious and lets not act like the Vikings havent tampered before. The NFL should do nothing on this. Nothing to see here Mike so move on crybaby.

  8. The Vikings never get a bone thrown their way… I highly doubt they will benefit from cousins tampering.

  9. Well the league needs to get this going. Falcons are caught red handed. Now give Minnesota the compensation they are owed. Fair is Fair!

  10. …eight for three sounds like VERY mild recompense for the idiot level of obvious tampering that went on (particularly Kirk's OWN blatant statements).
